BALTIMORE | Draw any conclusion you like from the Chiefs’ season-opening, 38-24 loss to the Ravens. The Chiefs were more competitive than you expected. Kansas City’s defense was an embarrassment. KC’s defense was undermined by an offensive unit that couldn’t sustain anything for three quarters. Things will improve when Matt Cassel is healthy enough to play.
