Once Monday was behind the Chiefs’ defense, players had no confusion on what their mistake was in Sunday’s 38-24 loss at Baltimore. There were film studies, meetings and coaches’ harsh criticisms — and the message kept emphasizing the same thing: Get off the field. The Ravens converted 10 of 17 third-down plays. That led to Baltimore running almost twice as many offensive plays as the Chiefs and some late fatigue that broke down Kansas City’s unit when it needed a stop. Baltimore kept converting, and in the days since, the Chiefs have kept hearing about it.

3rd down conversions KILLED the chiefs last week. They should do a better job with Oaklands sorry pass attack.

Flowers not playing had a lot to do with third down problems. Jackson was manhandled by Oher. Tank looked good except for a couple of plays were he played to high and was pushed back. Dorsey is playing pretty good in the role they are asking of him. Mays was horrible in coverage, as well as D, Williams. These guys are learning on the job and will get better.
