....between being content and being truly happy? Is contentment god enough, or do you constantly try to seek what will make you truly happy? What if obtaining it isn't necessarily in your realm of control?

Excellent question luv; for me it's my faith and through what I know is an uncharacteristic mistake you have actually touched on my answer here. Through God I find both contentment and true happiness. Not trying to conduct Sunday School here; just answering the question. :)

Yep that would be correct!! I thnk it was because I had to think about Luv's post, which meant I had to use it, which doesn't happen much!

Day to day for me. I don't look for "true happiness" I just take it one day at a time!! Beer by beer!! They say that true happiness is in a full case of Budweiser!! :beer:

It also depends how one defines true happiness.
It is a bit subjective; one my be truly happy being merely content.
