What do you think the percentage is that we can actually end up beating the Giants?

I can't think that stats on paper reflect a very high percentage, but the game isn't played on paper. I couldn't begin to guess the percentage buddy.

I went with 30%. I think there's just too much still stacked against us at this point.

Man, I hope I'm wrong. Maybe the difference will be O'Callaghan. :D

I went with 60% I think the Giants might walk in and think this is an automatic win. Guess what, its not. The Giants will probably get walked all over if they did not prepare for this game.

If we can get a win tomarrow, it would be awesome.

The accuscore where they simulate the game 10,000 times comes up with about 20-25% for the Chiefs. Like Chiefster said, it's hard to pinpoint a percentage because things on paper are one thing and the actual game is something else.

As I said in another thread, I wouldn't expect us to win against the 3-0 and experienced (and Super Bowl champion of 2 years ago) Giants. But I wouldn't consider it such a fluke if we do (someone had said 2% at that other thread). I'm glad to see here that the specified percentages are about 30% (with some at 50 or 60!).

I'd say 30% too. And hey, at the game I was at last week they said it would rain in the morning (which it did) but that it should stop by kickoff time and only be a 20% of showers after that. But it did shower briefly a couple of times during the game. So likewise, we are braced for falling to 0-4 against this tough team, but hopeful that maybe we have a breakthru and perform and gel pretty good. And/or get a big turnover or two. And/or a good kick return or two. While cutting down on the penalties.

One thing about the penalties though. I've heard more than once about how elite teams like the Patriots get more penalties that are close ones called in their favor than teams like the Chiefs. The thing being that teams like the Chiefs have to establish themselves as a better team and then the refs will give them the benefit of the doubt more often when the infraction in question is inconclusive and borderline. But still, 9 or 10 penalties per game is too high, even if, say, 2 or 3 of them were arguably ones that shouldn't have been flagged.

Well, I'm excited and pumped for the game tomorrow. Glad that it will be on tv here on my big screen. And glad it is the ONLY televised game in Philly at that time (they're showing Jets-Saints and Cowgirls-Donks for the late games). And glad the Chiefs will be at home this time. Even though we sadly lost to Oakland 2 weeks ago, it was great to see how loud and pumped the crowd was cheering us at Arrowhead. No doubt if we are keeping it close with the Giants the crowd will be rockin'!

By the way, who do you expect wins the Donkey game? Dallas is 3 point favorites. Denver is at home and 3-0 but the teams they've played are the Bungles, Clowns, and Faders. I think this one is a hard won to pick. I just have a feeling that Denver squeaks by at the end of the game (like they did in week one at Cincy) and shocks everyone with a 4-0 record.

20% here.. I just can't give us any more.
If we are to stand a chance we need to make no penalties (unlikely), play near perfect defense (unlikely) and then the win would come from one or two big plays late in the game (Pass or trick play would be my guess).

Personally I will be happy if we can be competitive and keep it close into the 4th quarter, with a chance to win.

But these Giants are awefull good, banged up or otherwise.

Here's to hoping though!!

If all these hurt players for the gaints sit out i`d say 30%. If they play, 10 to 20 %.
I f you see the gaints in groups on the sidelines they are probable game planning for next week game and forgetting about us.
After saying these things, this is the nfl and strange things happen. Thats why they play the game.

I went with 100%. I'm a complete homer. These same Giants walked into Cleveland last year and got their butts handed to them. Anything can happen, it's why they play the games....

That's right.

Accuscore has these stats from the 10,000 simulated games:

Team WinPercent AverageScore Big Win Close Win

New York Giants 77.6% 26.1 52.2% 11.0%
Kansas City Chiefs 22.3% 16.2 7.0% 8.5%

So the average score is 26-16 Giants. They win big 52% of the time. But they just closely 11% of the time. And we pull out a close one 8.5% and even win BIG 7% of the time (Out of 10,000 times that comes to 70 times we blow out the Giant, heh!).

So like we've said, at 22.3%, the Giants are clearly favored to win. But is no definite thing by any means.

It'll be great if DBowe can play and give Cassel a much needed extra weapon.

With a game like this, I really don't care if we win, just as long as we play well. However, if we do play well, but make a stupid mistake at the end of the game to cost us, then I simply won't accept that either.

Yep. Anything can happen.

We are at Arrowhead for this one.

However, The Giants are a better prepared team, so far.
