Ok so Dallas had the third best offense in the league going into the game with denver and denver shut them down in 2nd half.........while the chiefs losing if painful just the fact that denver has the same thing we do (rookie head coach new head coach) they are playing WAY better.......
now yes their first 3 games walks in the park (cincy should have won and they didn't **** around with oak.) dallas is a legit win. Now i won't say "yep best team" until next week when they play NE but if they do beat NE and do it in a good fashion then i will say they are good.

they will be lucky to win 4 more games the rest of the season. there next four are -pats, at chargers,at ravens, steelers,
they also still have games vs. giants, colts and eagles.

I'm amazed at how they've done this year too, where we get bad breaks and calls they get the opposite. I can't wait until this changes, it's frustrating.

No. I hate the Broncos more than any other team. I don't think they are great at all. Dallas is no where near the team that Philly or the Giants are...or the Ravens, Pats, or Steelers.

After 1 game I thought they sucked.
After the 2nd, I thought they were a bit lucky, with a decent defense.
After 3, I'm starting to give them some props and their defense definitely seemed solid though they hadn't beaten anyone impressive.
But I don't question any 4-0 team. The fact is that they're pretty good. Their defense is excellent and offense isn't making any mistakes. They made a seamless transition to the 3-4, unlike us. They just held the #1 rushing team that was averaging over 200 yards a game to about 75. I think they're a "pretty good" team that seems to be catching a ton of lucky breaks as well.
I wish we were in their shoes and they in ours right now...

While the Chiefs have a Tougher early schedule the Broncos opend with there lighter schedule. They are going to find a tough time getting more wins outside of Oakland.
They have a very good defense, who picked up the play in the second half yesterday.
If you look at the players on defense. They have some big play guys out there. People who will make a difference.
You look at the Chiefs and there is no one except poor Ole Mike Vrabel. Poor guy... I don't think he deserves this...
We have some potential, but they are very green....Flowers is close to being that guy, but was still burnt bad yesterday.

What's their hype? They were picked to finish 3rd or 4th in the NFC east. If that's hyping a team up then I don't want to see how they show a team no respect.
The broncos played well enough to beat the Cowboys and all the rest of their teams so far this season. When a team gets confidence like that you never know how far they can go.

The Broncos are getting all the ****ing breaks and are getting lucky....THIS HAPPENS EVERY YEAR NO MATTER WHAT!!! THATS WHY I HATE THEM MORE THAN ANY OTHER TEAM! ****ing ****y *******s. But we will beat them. I see it happening just like last year. Last years win was epic and LJ showed up for 198 yards. He is a perfect fit against the Donkeys defense.

Im shocked they played so well.. I was sure McDaniels had ruined that team. I would have loved to see what had happened, if they had started with our schedule and not won a game yet. (Ok maybe Raiders..)
I think things would have looked different. (As in a B. Marshall dramabomb) Right now McDaniels has the locker room, because they are winning and they are riding the momentum wave..
Right now we have diddely squat.. Maybe this will change once we are not playing all the best teams..
I have to give props to their D though, they handled Dallas. Especially Dumerville impressed me, he can play..
It pisses me off though.. It's the freakin' Donkeys!!

The Broncos were picked to finish 3rd or 4th in division and now they're atop it without a loss. Preseason picks don't mean squat, Denver stopped a talented Dallas team. Allbeit they've had a bit of luck on their side, pulling off the Cincy miracle and coming back from 10-0 yesterday. As much as I hate Denver, Nolan deserves a lot of credit, 4-0 is something to be proud of, even if half the wins came against crap teams.
Oh, and I hope Denver stumbles with NE and finishes 0-12.
Go Chiefs!

I agree, when an average team gets a few wins it builds confidence, locker room chemistry and provides a little extra spring in their step each week. If they start beating GOOD teams in the near future, watch out, they could end up being a steamroller.
I hate the Broncs as much as anyone but I've seen how teams like this can get on a roll and keep it going.

I predicted they would upest Dallas. Just had a feeling. But I think with these other games they have coming up now we'll see them come back down to earth.
I can't stand them but do give them credit for 4-0. But still not sold on them as being as good as that record. I still think 9-7 at best, and probably 8-8 again.

I dont even think they will win 8 I mean you will always look good playing the browns and raiders. And i am not sold on the Bengals either.

um....hello :)
I'm a Denver fan firs and foremost (ducks).... But I am not here to talk any junk - I have always had a soft spot for the Chiefs too, as I lived in Kansas for a while as a kid.
I know...same division makes us rivals, but I gotta tell you, I am pulling for you guys - I want you to do well - KC always plays Denver tough, and no matter what we always have good games.
You guys are down and out now, but your schedule HAS been brutal - I truly hope your team can find a rythm soon.
I will take KC over the Dolts anyday ;)
Hang in there KC fans - it's gonna get better - your almost over the hump.

The Donks have not been tested, even the die hard Donk fans that I work with are sitting on pins and needles and are more than a little worried. They know it is just a matter of time before they are made to look like the team that everyone expected them to be.
They are playing the Patriots this weekend. Now the Patriots defense is not the defense of old, but their offense is still top-flight. We will see how this Broncos defense holds up as Brady and company start picking them off one by one.

They are pretty damn good and will probably win the division, BUT they did get help from the refs to win against the Pats yesterday.

So do the Chargers. They by far get more help from the refs than any other team in the league.

The bell just rang. Recess is over.
Heres a thought. The team with the best coaching/front office, most talented players, biggest and baddest linemen, and winningiest (is that a word?) attitude - will win. No matter the refs...

Thats total BS. In the past few years I've seen more and more games won by teams being favored by horrible calls by refs to favor 1 particular team in football and basketball. (those are the only 2 sports I follow)
Its kinda getting out of hand.

I must be an outsider because I really haven't noticed that. But I have noticed that the better team usually wins...but I'll place the blame on George Bush for that one...???!!!

Did you watch the NBA Finals last year? Even the Laker fans that I know were admitting that they were getting calls the whole series in their favor.
Then you got the Pats vs Ravens game last week favoring the hell out of Tom Brady.
Its one thing to favor a team, but come on, don't make it completely obvious to everyone.
You know it may not be that they're favoring the whole team, but certain players are getting way more credit then these deserve and are consistantly getting calls in their favor.

I've seen this, in limited shares, in The NBA. (Shaq)But not in The NFL.
Both of the calls for The Pats, with Brady, were correct.
And, if you can watch without favoritism, then you will see that refs make mistakes for and against every team.

Are you taling about the call against Meriwether for taunting Brandon Marshall?
NFL network showed the replay and the ref threw the flag for taunting BEFORE the taunting happened.

No I haven't seen that one.
I was talking about the two "roughing the passer" calls, against The Ravens last week.

That one was bullsh!t. (and I mean the rule not the call) They are taking it waaaaaay too easy on QBs these days. Might as well be flag football. If the QB stays on his feet then its not roughing the passer.

There are definitely some bad calls in the NFL but not that many.
Referees make mistakes. They always will. The better teams almost always win. The better teams tend to get the calls because the refs don't expect them to make mistakes.
Do any of you honestly believe that calls consistently go for any one team and against another team? Since referees are rotated that would require a conspiracy.

Conspiracy on penalties... yes I do, and I can't wait until the league throws us more calls like versus the Cowboys, on a regular basis. The Donkeys have had this luxury for almost a straight decade and a half IMO.

Hell yeah! Agreed. ***** QB's. They put a new rule in that you can't go for legs because of Pollard. WTF!?! WHAT ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO DO WHEN A LINEMAN HOLDS YOU ON THE GROUND (which is a penalty wth)?!? He even caused an int on the that play so come on...

Favoritism? If I am watching a game for the sole purpose of just watching the game and I could careless who wins then thre is no favoritism.
Just like the NBA, there are MANY NFL players who get calls their way because they are "superstars" and theres no way they could make a mistake.
Example, there are a few select WR/TE they tend to push off the defender and don't ever get called for it like Tony Gonzalez, Chad Johnson, and Hines Ward, just to name a few.

I can't agree with you.
I think that to assume different officials have been either given instruction or bribes to favor a particular team, or disfavor a team, stretches the imagination quite a bit.
If you said that one particular game was fixed or one official was corrupt I might be able to accept it as plausible. I think you'll need some extraordinary evidence to get anyone to believe your conspiracy theory.

All WRs get away with that. Some plays seem more obvious than others. BUt that is a sias to the offense, over the defense. Not one player over another.
But I agree that that should be fixed. The rule and the penalty lengths for PI are ridiculous.
Stomp your opponent in the face with your cleets, and its fifteen yards.
But accidentally bump a WR while the ball is in the air, and the penalty can be as far as the QB can throw...plus an automatic first down!?!?!?
But just ten yards, and another try, if the offense is called for the same thing.
