Cool, my own thread! I'm a Vikes fan first growing up in the Twin Cities, but a Chiefs fan second since my Dad was from KC.

I was at the Plaza Thanksgiving Lighting Ceremony when Derrick Thomas flipped the switch to turn on all of the Christmas Lights. Pretty cool. Sad he's no longer with us.

I'm also excited about going to the Vikes-Chiefs game on Sept 23!

It's been fun the last two weeks up here in Des Moines since we get to listen to Mitch Holthus on KXNO every morning. Some of his humor is a little cheesey, but I love the updates on the Chiefs.

Too bad they got spanked last night.

Well, welcome to the Crowd. I like the Vikings. I am a Chiefs fan, but I follow the entire NFL, as much as I can and the Vikings are one of the teams that I like. Plus, my best friend is a Vikings fan. (Religiously.) So, I get to hear alot about them.

wasn't meant as a jab....ok, maybe a little one. the sis-in-law is from Minnesota, so we do a little jabbing here and there..all in fun!!:D
