SD is not that great of a team. They play each half differently. They probably think we are showing up as a weak 0-4 team, that is not the case.

matthewschiefs

If the chiefs can hold LT and Sproles they have a shot to win. If they get them going its going to be hard to watch.

Well, you got your wish on the number 2 because this game is an absolute turd...
2 yards offense with 3 min left in the half and 2 first downs at the 2 minute warning. Yeah, that effort is going to make every defense shake in thier cleats.

Straight up, Chiefs are getting out played. No other excuses.

fairladyZ

i don't think that one was a lack of effort on LJ, just absoluetly nowhere to go, waters got pushed back like a 12 year old and looked like it thru a wrench into where LJ was planning on cutting it up.

I was upset at larry on that first 4th and 1 when he tried to juke instead of lower his shoulder and was a yard short of the first.

KCraised
10-25-2009, 04:11 PM

Hayvern
10-25-2009, 04:18 PM
Well the finger belongs pointed directly at Hailey. I cannot believe how badly we played today and that was completely on him. This team was not ready to play today and it showed.

I would like to think that Haley could build a team eventually, but I am rapidly beginning to think that it will not be in KC. I know, I know, it is his first year, but he really spouted off big in the off season and is not backing up his big mouth with actions on the field.

22 players off the street eh? Yeah, that one is going to come back to haunt you.

Yep it was definately Haley's fault that the O-line misseed all those blocks, couldn't make blocks, missed tackles, getting burned on routes, dropping passes, and not being able to put any pressure on the Rivers even when they blitzed.

The Chiefs have a handful of GOOD players and the rest are below average to average players. Hard to win games like that no matter who your coach is.

KCraised

Man, whats really bad is listening to respected ex players/coaches like Cowher, Marino, Sharpe, and Simms just flat out calling it like it is and shaking thier heads on the recap.

Well, maybe you will enlighten us...

The Chiefs have a handful of good players, because they have been getting rid of them with haste.

If the HC chooses his coaching staff, then who is in charge of teaching these players to do things like block, pass and tackle?

Who's in charge of cutting players?

Who decides which players are gonna get playing time?

Who decides the gameplans and such?

I thought I had a pretty good idea of these things. But maybe I am missing something here.

Please, share your wisdom.

Just because someone can do something in practice, does NOT mean they can do it in the game. Practice and a real game are night and day.

Oh, and Haley does NOT make all those decisions on his own like you think. So yes, you are missing something.

What is that?

And, rather he makes those decisions on his own, (Did I say that somwhere?) or not, he is in charge of those things.

But, what player is it that gets to cut other players from the roster?

What player does he hiring/firing of the coaching staff?

And what player sets the starting lineup and depth chart?

10-25-2009, 07:55 PM
Well I was upset I had to work today and that I was also so busy that I couldn't keep updated on the Chiefs game.

But as it turns out I missed a very depressing game. That's a shame. It'd be one thing to go to 1-6 after a competitive close loss (like 2 weeks ago vs. Dallas). But 37-7 is a real setback.

Well we got a much needed bye next week. Hopefully can get it going better against a struggling Jaguars team in 2 weeks.

I see how a lot of home teams with bad records got pounded today besides us. The Rams lose 42-6. Browns lose 31-3. Raiders lose 38-0 (the one birght spot of today). The Bears and Bucs also got clobbered big time.

So today was misery for the Chiefs but misery had a lot of company. (Doesn't make it feel any better except for the Oakland game. I love how Richard Seymour was boasting after last week's upset and said the Faders would make the playoffs! Then they lose at home 38-0! I really really love that!)
