I think we can overcome this.

Roaf is obviously one hell of a loss, but we have to hope.

There has to be hope.

I saw that.

Thanks for the link; let's just hope that Turley is up for the job or Trent will get a good look at the sky this season.

Rumor has it that Roaf told King Carl weeks ago.

Waita minute, waitaminute, waitaminute!!!!

The Roaf retirement isn't a done deal just yet. So, my "hissy-fit" is going on hold for the moment. But, I'll be back on the rampage as soon as it is stated, unquestionably, that he won't play.

Turley is quite capable of playing a very good left-tackle. I just don't trust his health yet. And, even if his health cooperates, he will still be a down-grade from Willie.

And then, there is still the effect that Roafs retirement would have on the right tackle situation. With Roaf, we would be starting Turley, health willing. Without Roaf, Kevin Sampson, Jordan Black, Wil Svitek and Chris Bober will compete for the job.........Not to mention, if Kyle's health decides not to cooperate...........I don't even want to talk about it.

HOF Willie Roaf, opposite Kyle Turley. INCREDIBLE!! Jordan Black, opposite Kevin Sampson.

I hope you're right, but at this point it's difficult for me to see this as anything other than smoke and mirrors.

Forgive me Guru, but, "he is done"from anyone, ain't gonna do it for me. When the season stars, and He isn't there, I will let go of all hope of having a winning season.

Until then, just let me maintain hope through denial. And after that, let me pout about it in my own way.( meaning, posting in a negative, whiney kinda way for one season.)

Thank you for your cooperation. :-D

Larry Johnson will get yards with no blockers. With Herm Edwards as coach get used to it. No more Martyball, it's Hermieball. I love it.

Welcome prough91!

You are correct sir; it is Hermieball, and I for one am as about as used to it as I'm gonna get at this point. :-)

I am personally a little worried about Roaf retiring. I remember how ineffective the offense became last year when Roaf was missing. I will still take Larry Johnson #1 in the fantasy drafts if I get the chance though.

That'll be tough unless you are first in the draft order.
