Looking like it could be that year where we break a record for least amount of INTS for the season..which was would be a club record low.

3—Number of interceptions by the Chiefs after seven games. They've faced 233 passing attempts, so they are getting one interception every 77.6 passes. The franchise record for fewest interceptions in a season was 11 in 15 games in 1987.

So do you think we can pick it up and get some more?

Only 3? I guess Cassel is doing better than some seem to think. I just wish his WR's would start catching the balls that he's throwing them.

I am talking about defense, not Cassel.

Oh, okay. My bad. Our defense will get better. It is already improving. It really hasn't been the same since Jared Allen left and Tamba Hali is no Jared Allen. The way to force interceptions is to have good pass rushers, which isn't great but it's getting better. Trading Allen was another one of the foolish moves Herm and Carl screwed us with.

Actually he is pretty comparable to Jared, with the fact that he has more Career FF with KC than Jared did.

Of course Hali is no Jared Allen.

The main point to this is that even though we really don't turn it over much, if you don't cause the other teams to commit turnovers, you're probably gonna lose.

Mind you one of the those interceptions was on a Hail Mary play at the end of the half in Washington. So really only 2 real interceptions. Terrible

Before some ripes my head off, I'm unsure of the years. It waas 04=05 or 05-06.
The first year everyone loved our defense, they gave up a lot of yards but they also got a ton of turn overs. The next year with about the same players they sucked, they still gave up the yards but got no turn overs.
We don't have enough play makers on the defense period.
Those of you who have been on the crowd for awhile know I believe in strong OL and DL's, But after the last game I've changed my mind on the draft and free agency. We can still get a good RT in the second round, now I think Eric Berry has to be a strong consideration. Brown is easily 2 or 3 steps slower than when he was in his prime.

So, if neither team turns the ball over then the game will more then likely end in a tie??? :D (Just teasin)

I acutally heard we are ranked second for most tipped passes.

Either way, we need turn overs to help win games.
