Kansas City Chiefs - Chiefs Sign Free Agent CB Travis Daniels, Place S Jarrad Page on IR (http://www.kcchiefs.com/news/2009/11/04/chiefs_sign_free_agent_cb_travis_daniels_place_s_j arrad_page_on_ir)

The Chiefs placed S Jarrad Page on injured reserve on Wednesday. Page has played in 53 career games (39 starts) with the Chiefs, producing 204 tackles (179 solo), a sack (-3.0 yards), 10 INTs for 69 yards, 24 passes defensed, four forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and one QB pressure. He also owns 17 special teams tackles. He entered the NFL as a seventh-round pick (228th overall) of Kansas City in 2006.

The Chiefs re-signed CB Travis Daniels to take his spot. Leggett is expected to be the emergency backup FS now with McGraw the starter (who has been dealing with an injury himself.)

Great. :(

Page isn't the best, but he is fairly good. Good thing the Jags can't throw well.

Yep, too bad we don't have Pollard around now eh?

At least it isn't Brown that is injured.

Pollard and Page was the worst safety tandem in the NFL. Now enter Brown and McGraw, and the situation remains the same.

Interesting fact. With McGraw out, DaJuan Morgan, not Travis Daniels or Maurice Leggett, practiced with the 1st team at FS today. I'm interested to see what he's got. He was a 3rd round pick last year and made some nice plays against the Rams in preseason.

Also Mike Richardson was missing from practice, so he may have been cut. We'll find out in the next couple days.
