The guy has been stiff armed more than i can count and has missed just as many tackles that i don't care to count that have led to TD's...

Im glad to see more of a quick passing attack, maybe now Cassel will survive the season. Now if the receivers could just hang onto it.. :)

Oh man Mike Brown.... A veteran and pro bowler should not be caught that much out of position... Dammit!

This team is bad! They can not move the ball and keep giving up big plays, 61 yard TD pass, 44 yard punt return. They have given up 4 plays of over 30 yards today according to Lenny. When you can not score you can not do that.

If your team is having problems all you have to do is get the Chiefs on your schedule to feel good one game at least. Stick a fork in the Chiefs we are done for the year. At least we will get a top 5 draft pick maybe the head office can do something with it this year.

Gees 3 sacks to a team that has only had 5 in 7 games without blitzing come on line block someone. Lenny just said screens are not working because the O line has to hold up the defense for a second. What do you know a 54 yard TD to our newest member.

Tyson Jackson had a nice game! And hopefully Chris Chambers can continue to play like that.

Of course, it would be nice to play the FIRST three and a half quarters with the kind of intensity we seem to end games with.

Next up... the Gayders. I think I heard a stat that we've won every game in Oakland since 2000? Todd... don't screw it up.

So god d**n close!!
A few positives in the end there.
Why didn't we run the ball more??!

A few players worth Mentioning:

Cory Mays - Playing well, especially against the run.
Tyson Jackson!!!!! - Credited with 7 tackles according to NFL.com!!
Tamba Hali - Doing pretty good..
Lance Long - 8 Catches for 80 some yards, good check down receiver today..
Brandon Flowers - Thumbs up!
Ryan Succop - Oh yeah!
Chris Chambers - Thank you Sandiego!

Still- 6 years. Good streak to have.

And Succop, while nice to have on board, would have made this a tie game if he hadn't missed his 3rd FG. Yes, I know it was long....

But if we can trash Connor Barth for missing 2 in bad weather on a crappy field, we can bash Succop for missing a long one. :D

Only the great Stenerud could have made that. If he had made it the circumstances would have changed and the game would have been completely different.

Nick Lowery's career best was 58 yards, so he could have made it as well.

Sorry- I don't know what the wind was like the day he kicked his 58 yarders (he kicked 2), but he kicked 22 field goals over 50 yards during his career, so stating that Jan Stenerud was the ONLY KC kicker that could have made it is...

erroneous

Our D line looked much better today, Tamba did very well (needs to give just a little tug downwards more when he gets his hands on the QB :P)

offense was poor until the last 2 drives, wtf happened? Lets do that all the time!

Colquitt is a freakin saviour, a punter like him keeps us close.

We had every chance to win but didnt. SOSDD

Sooner or later, perhaps our brilliant offensive wizard coach will realize that we do really well in a hurry-up offense, and should use that for all four quarters.

I just wish they would "open it up" more.... earlier in the game.
It seems that every team we play knows that the Chiefs do 'dink and dunk' passes and draw plays. So from they start they know that all of our offensive "action" takes place within 5 yard of the line of scrimmage.
They start the game with 8 or 9 guys in the box. They blitz right off the bat knowing that our O Line will crumble like a house of cards.

Just do some 10+ yard timing routes earlier and you'll have the safeties and linebackers backing off of the line a bit and will open up the running game a little.

I know man. What exactly is an 8 yard pass on 3rd and 19 supposed to do? We have to stretch out the field sometimes or defenses will have no reason to not stack the box every play against us.

They were playing prevent on that final drive, but the 50+ yard TD to Chambers, Chambers just flat out beat their coverage.

And yeah, bad decision going for the 56+ yard FG in 30 mph winds. We'd be better off punting.

I have to work every other weekend so was at work for this one. Was getting updates from the Cardinals-Bears game on tv (which then switched to GB-TB because da Bears were getting romped).

3-0 yay Chiefs. Then 7-3 JV but a rushing td not from Maurice Jones-Drew.

Then 7-6 yay Chiefs get another fg. Then 14-6 JV, darn it. But at least still a one possession game.

After a long time at 14-6, then became 17-6. Getting late and looking bleaker but not over yet.

Then I saw 24-6 late in the 4th. That did it. Time for the fat lady to sing.

Then soon saw it go to 24-13. Well at least we finally got a touchdown. Then with a minute to go 24-21. Wow! Nice surprise there. I figured it must have been a successful onside kick, which it was.

But problem was, of course, we needed to pull off another one. And then would have had to score again.

So unfortunately we had another ugly game but managed to make it look close at the end. At least our defense reasonably shut them and Jones-Drew down. We just continue having such problems scoring. And still no rushing touchdowns this year.

Hopefully Chambers becomes a regular playmaker for us in upcoming games. And hopefully Charles gets a lot more carries. I was disappointed he only got 6 carries. Thought he was going to get more action then that. But I guess trailing almost the entire game merited Casell going to the air more.

Todd Haley mentioned postives like only one penalty and no turnovers. But if we could just finally get the offense going. And not have to have Colquitt punt 7 or more times every game.
