View Full Version : Is Preist Holmes Going to play again

Do you think holmes is going to come off PUP and actually play in the rams game. I Know there was a reason to do with the roster and PUP players are not considered top be on the roster. Is there a chance that he can be allowed to make a comeback or was it all a ploy to get LJ back to camp. GIVE HIM A SHOT PETERSON YOU A$$HOLE:mob: :iamwithstupid:

Chiefster

It appears more and more that Peterson has no intention of taking him off PUP.

I think Peterson hopes he doesn't need him but is keeping him on the PUP rather than IR or releasing him so as to have him as a security blanket for the team just in case they need him around midseason.

:mob: (Angry Mob)During camp holmes made headlines with his comeback attempt and now there is a virtual black hole in reguards to holmes snd id hr going to come off PUP we had a great chance to see if he had the stuff in the preseason game. I know we have 3 (If priest is healthy)Awesome RB . ok we deal away bennette or Priest and maybe move up the draft. maybe get a trade for a QB. I want to see if he still has the juice. I want to see hime go over the top again. We will need him with no solid passing game. Get him off PUP and lets see if the dog can hunt

Listening to NFL on sirius and they are saying we should have traded Green for Culpepper striaght trade. WHy didnt we do that. Did we really think Croyle was our guy. Would have been interesting. He will be a free agent next year as russel will prob get his deal done and we will no nothing more on croyle unless huard gets hurt. CHiefster your thoughts.

isnt it were if you start the season on PUP they have to wait several games before he can play? cant remember. let him play,if he flops the queen can say i told you so. if he does good maybe trade bait for a 5th or 6th.

Actually my thoughts are that it isn't going to make much difference who we place under center behind our swiss cheese o-line.

Chiefster, Doin well Used to live in tulsa and been drunk in your town a time or 2. Hows that midwest humidity treating you. Do you think Holms will ever see the grren grass again. I think and hope he does/will but im guessing there are not allot of peterson fans in the rooms. I just want to see him off PUP and running again if he is healthy:bananen_smilies046:

I hope that Priest will get his shot at a come back. I believe that if the trainers say he is ready, get him off the pup, let him practice with the team. You do not know what he can do untill he takes some hits and preforms with the team. Keeping him on the pup does not help this team, getting him in the mix does.:11:

It's just for fun really. You accumulate so much Arrowcash with each post in which to bet with in the "Sportsbook" forum, it's all just make believe for entertainment purposes. Although, there maybe instances where prizes maybe involved; that’s up to “admin”.

If he winds-up forcing Priest to retire, then he is a scumbag. I'm gonna give Hermie the little bit of credit that I'd give for making the right call, for a starting quarterback.

08-31-2007, 01:16 PM
As evidenced in previous posts I don't think Herm Edwards is all bad, however I kinda laughed watching the last episode of Hard Knocks (regarding the QB decision). They tried to make it look like a ton of drama. All you had to do was glance at the boxscore of preseason game 3 to know that Croyle just handed the job back to Huard. On a silver platter...

swmochiefsfan

Well this is the first year it will actually be Hermmie's team I am anxious to see how it goes,we made it to the playoffs with Dicks team, or the remnants thereof

The Priest was great and good for him to try a comeback but its over now don't risk your life. Time to cut him loose this is little bit of a distraction and its about a youth movement we have seen flashes of what Kolby Smith can do.

What bothers me is that the Chiefs said they were going to give him a chance to make his comeback and did not do it. They need to cut him and allow him to try his comeback, with another team.
