Way to go Zack! This is wonderful news. We all know he deserved the Cy Young and thought he'd get it, but had a little concern that just maybe he'd be spurned because of the Royals record. Glad 25 of 28 voted the right way cuz Zack certainly had nothing to do with the Royals losing record. 16-8, 2.16 era on this team is nothing short of phenominal.

I was thinking this morning when they announced that he was a finalist that he should be hands down winner. The fact he was able to milk out 16 wins and put up the numbers he did on this team speaks volumes about how good he is.

He would likely have been a 20 game winner with the Cardinals.
