Does LJ just not get it. Here is a quote he had after this weekends win over CLEVELAND.

"It just takes me back to the old days of a couple years ago," said Johnson, who was released by the Chiefs as he was set to return from a suspension. "I've always admired the AFC North because they run the football. In my (former) division, you had to throw it 100 times before you ran it."

This coming from a guy who Herm Edwards ran, and ran and ran...

LJ it is the Browns.... Lets see what your replacement does to them in two weeks as he put up similiar numbers against a better team this week.

Wait, didn't we have a washed up player on our team once named LJ, this can't be the same guy can it?

Do we really need another LJ thread?

Here we go complaining about EVERY little thing he says.
He got 107 yards. 4.9 YPC. He finally got holes to run through. He isn't Charles so he can't squirm through 2 foot holes or run it outside. He still has got it. I don't care if its the Browns. He ran the ball well. I don't care if you hate him or not he still is good. Just don't even reply to this thread anymore and let it die.

Same guy. He had 100 yards against arguably the worst team in the league. Whoopee.

And yeah, it's strange that he would bash the AFC West (Not having the stones to just bash KC) for being a pass happy division when it was that very division where he set a record for.....

Number of carries in a season. :lamende:

The only pass happy team in the division is SD and they only started playing that way recently. If you broke down the stats you'd probably see more runs than passes from every team except for SD and even with them I'd expect its somewhere around 55-45.

What?

I was saying he can't complain about not getting the ball, cause he had it 400 + times in 1 season. Needless to say we still ran the ball alot and would have alot more if he could of handeld the task.

And he had it there in cincy too.

So in other words, its not the back as much as it is the line.

You give LJ something to work with, and who knows what he could have done. Look at what he done as a backup.

This is why i have really jumped on the Jamaal Charles bandwagon. Look at what he has done with this piss poor O-line. He could argueably be a Chris Johnson..(maybe not quite as fast).

Always loved Larry, knew he still had it but he can't make something out of nothing like Charles. I hope he tears it up in Cincy.

Not arguing here, but JC has world class sprinter speed. The guy had potential for Olympic speed events.

JC and CJ have very similar top speeds, CJ may have a very slight edge
what makes CJ so fast is his acceleration is literally off the charts.
Jamaal accelerates like a 9.5/10
Larry at 3/10
CJ at 14/10

regardless I love Jamaal, he's why I follow the chiefs!
