Running back Kolby Smith, who missed part of last season because of a knee injury, could be in danger of cutting another season short. Chiefs coach Todd Haley acknowledged Friday that the ankle injury Smith suffered two weeks ago could land him on injured reserve. “We’re having further evaluation,” Haley said. “We’ll see.”

A let down for him for sure. Injuries seem to be the one thing that is going to keep Smith from being a good RB.
