Rams release G Richie Incognito - NFL - Yahoo! Sports (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=ArA0YLHRx6S6oL1y3RvAv6VDubYF?slug=ap-rams-incognito&prov=ap&type=lgns)

Ok, look, he has problems. But....problems can be fixed. We need a tough player on this team. Espcailly on the OL. I propose we sign him to the PS, and see if we can't fix him.

Randy Moss was fixed...kinda.

So was Albert Haynesworth.

I don't care about fixing him. He's an instant upgrade at the guard position.

Sign him so at least cassel isn't running for his life EVERY play. Just, you know, 80% of the time.

...Not really seeing this as "Hard Core Chiefs Discussion".

Well, on second thought; perhaps it is.

His problem is he is getting alot of penalties....which we don't need.

He's not a bad OG, but penalties are drive killers. Every DT in the NFL now knows how easy it is to make Incognito do something stupid and is licking their chops to play against him.

I dont realy think that the rams leftover goods is going to help us out much. But at this point anyone is at least worth a look.

Seriously, If the Rams don't want him with the shape they are in. Why would we...

At this point in the season. Lets just finsih with what we have and work on fixing the problem proper.

The Raiders didn't want Randy Moss you know.

But I do agree. 3 more games, then we can go from there.

True dat, our line is looking a little better all he would be is a bandage.

"Incognito was benched after drawing two personal foul penalties for head-butting opponents in the first half on Sunday"

I think we can live without him, we already have plenty of penalties on O.

This seems like just another of the disasterpieces we have occupying our current line.

I think some agressive coaching can cure his very SLIGHT problem.

Hes nasty and I LIKE IT. Sometimes you need some of those down and dirty nasty players on the field to win.

Why not, lets get him~

Super talented and he would have been an upgrade for us but Buffalo already claimed him off waivers Bills add Richie Incognito | ProFootballTalk.com (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2009/12/16/bills-add-richie-incognito/)

No worries...this guy has had a long history of fighting and being a trouble maker. I think we'll be ok passing on him

Personnally I don't understand why Nduke hasn't been tried at OG. He played OG for the Dolphins last year.
By the way updated mock is out at www.walterfootball.com . This one makes more sense than most of the other ones. If Spikes falls to the 2nd rd you gotta grab him, same for Stuckey in the 3rd. Althoough in my mock for this week I have us taking Cermi, OT from WI. 6'8", 325, has the potential to play LT in the NFL, but put him at RT and he's a monster. Good pass blocker and a beast of a run blocker. This allows Alpert to move to OG. Get two more years out of Waters to develope Brown. Then pickup Wegman as a free agent for a couple of years to draft and develope an OC, Things on the Ol would be looking good.

Baltimore Ravens: Damian Williams (http://walterfootball.com/scoutingreport2010dwilliams.php), WR, USC
*he's not even 2nd round rated material
Jacksonville Jaguars: Tim Tebow (http://walterfootball.com/scoutingreport2010ttebow.php), QB, Florida
*you can't be serious??? 1st round?
Oakland Raiders: Ryan Mallett, QB, Arkansas
*he's already stated he's coming back unless he's guaranteed top 5 drafted slot
Houston Texans: Dez Bryant (http://walterfootball.com/scoutingreport2010dbryant.php), WR, Oklahoma State
*won't make it past the Titans
New York Giants: Anthony Davis, OT, Rutgers
*they need LBs more than OLine...trust me McClain or Spikes won't make it past them...maybe even Hughes
Oakland Raiders: Carlos Dunlap (http://walterfootball.com/scoutingreport2010cdunlap.php), DE, Florida
*unless he has a crappy pro day, 1st round and definitely not to the Raiders
Kansas City Chiefs: Brandon Spikes (http://walterfootball.com/scoutingreport2010bspikes.php), ILB, Florida
*hahahahaha
Miami Dolphins: Arrelious Benn, WR, Illinois
*once again, is going to kill pro day & combine...1st rounder all the way

I haven't seen a mock yet that I agree with completly. When I said this one made more sense than most, ZI meant from the Chiefs view point. I agree Spikes won't fall to the 2nd rd. Would be nice, but won't happen.
Jaguars owner wants Tebow, doesn't make semse from a player need point of view, just from putting fans in the stands.
Knowing the way Al Davis thinks, he will take Mays.
There are only 2 1st RD worthy WR's in this group. Bryant and LaFell, Benn may or may not go in the 1st RD.
Ravens need WR's but need Cb's more. They have to rebuild thier aging defense.
Not sure which way the giants will go, but would have to think it will be defense.
IMO McClain will go to Denver.

He's a Bill now. Sad thing is he's probably their best offensive lineman now.

It's funny how a team with winning problems will cut a Olineman for making too many penalties when the reality is the refs are much harder on losing teams when it comes to calling the penalties . A team like the Chargers who are doing great and have LT have a much better shot at getting away with a holding call on a long run rather than a team like the Chiefs because the ref will be more likely believe that the Chiefs had to hold to get the RB free and able to get the long run. It happens more than most people would think in the game.
