Jamaal Charles needs 139 more yards to get a 1000 yard season! Honestly I believe he can make it! He had 3 games in a row where he rushed for more than that!

I think that it will be close. He will at the very least come up just a bit shy. I hope he makes it. It would be a good sign for things to come for him. GO CHIEFS!!!!!

It would be great if he got it on a game-winning touchdown that the Donkeys needed to stop in order to get into the playoffs. :D

I like the part about mentioning how Chris Johnson is going to buy a car for each of his linemen if he reaches 2000. JC can't do that because he makes 385k instead of the millions Chris Johnson makes, so he's going to take them out to dinner instead. :D

I voted it would be close. I wanted to vote yes, but it is going to be tough. Maybe.....if he gets with in 30 yards, Haley will run it a few more times just for Charles' Glory.

I hope he gets it and the Chiefs win. I hate the Denver broncos. Almost as much as i hate oakland.

Least carries for any 1000 yard rusher in Chiefs history!!! Heck yes! This kid is only 22 and will be doing this for us for a long time.

The OL is making some decent holes. Unfortunately Donkeys have a porous run defense ... so it doesnt mean a whole lot.

I think a RB who has racked up 260 yards so far against an 18th ranked running defense in Denver is saying something. I'll take it any day.

I was one of those people Greg34.... I always liked Charles, but always doubted him as an every down back. I still think we need another compliment to him via late round draft choice just to keep him and the rushing attack ballin...

But JC, man oh man. Kid is more fun to watch every week. Makes the o line look good sometimes lol... he is an explosive player. Since week 7 or 8, only Chris Johnson has more yards from scrimmage! Thats an incredible stat, and i hope he continues to have success here as a Chief because like i said, sure is fun to watch running up 260 against the Donks IN Denver...

i think chris johnson WAS the only player to rush for more, but after today and jamaal rushing for 100+ more than chris i think Jamaal over took him for the last 8 weeks combined.. Is impressive.

I would agree, and I am one of those, that was wondering if he could, he must address the fumble issue, but even the greats, fumble.

I also doubted his ability to be an every down back. After the last half of the season, I am starting to think he could be. However, I still would like to see another big back to run in between the tackles and for short yardage. I still dont think JC can handle more than 20-25 carries a game for 16 games. That is a lot of punishment. And I can also see how painful it is for him when he slowly gets up after some of his runs.

I'm not sure your starting running back *should* get more than 20-25 carries.

I never stated that I thought JC couldn't be an every down back. But I am guilty of having my doubts.

But then, I still have worries in that area.
