The refs are either paid off, or secretly Broncos personnel. It was Bulls**t. No holding calls on Denver, DPI when it wasn't. Blown calls all over the place.

I quote a ref during today's game.
There was not enough contact on the play to rule Pass interference.

What the hell does that mean.


I think someone should investigate if these refs were paid off.

Yes, we won by a landslide, but those penalties could have forced us to lose. I think we should have won by more.

The penalty that was thrown on Carr in the end zone.. The ref who threw the flag had a big ole smile on his face.

I then watched him on the Bailey PAIT and he was strongly arguing with the refs until he shut his mouth quickly as they ruled it in their huddle and then announced there was not enoug contact.

I personally hated the biased opinion of Fouts and Enberg... Our guys are getting raped and it is a good no call, and we barely touch them and it is PAIT. I also love how they continuosly checked the Baltmore game in context of the Donkies as they were over looking the Chiefs.

Would be nice to be able to view those refs sportsbooks. That Champ Bailey play on Javarris Williams was one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen. He practically ran him over with the ball in the air without looking back.

There has been controversy among the NFL fans, and within the NFL for years relating to the incompetence of ref's. Many hold the opinion the bad calls are a result of their ref job's in the NFL being part time, rather than full time.

Those holding that opinion believe if being an NFL ref were a full time career...education, practice, experience would take place more than it does now, and fewer bad calls would result.

IMO...with the NFL being a billion dollar organization, as well as most franchise owners being million and billionaires...the NFL, and owner franchise profits relying on winning seasons, of which bad calls can affect...it amazes me that the ref's aren't full time, and paid more as such.

It's all about money (greed), and they apparently allow the money to blind their financial feasibility/intelligence...I'm left with no other conclusion to draw, considering all factor's.

Many say what goes around comes around, that all teams suffer or gain from bad calls. I don't agree with that theory at all, especially related to critical playoff games...as I've watched my Chiefs lose playoff games as a result of bad calls.

I don't know if the NFL 'rigs' win's or losses among teams, but...that too has been a subject of controversy for years within the NFL and among fans.

I do know, from doing my own research a few yrs back when this subject was disscussed among some NFL fans...that there seems to be some 'luck' among teams building new stadiums and their ending up with winning seasons, and many within a Super Bowl around the same time period. Could be coincidental, however.

Theory being...cities/county taxpayers are more apt to vote for new stadiums when the team is winning, or has proven in some way to have a potential for winning 'if only' there was more fan support due to needing a new stadium, etc.. Winning teams help recover costs of those stadiums, and then some...through tax revenue dollars generated of course.

Now, if this theory is in any way reliable...the Chiefs should begin to have a winning season again soon...considering the tax dollars spent on recent improvements to Arrowhead, although the rolling roof was not approved by voters.

Keep in mind...for years Chiefs fans supported the Chiefs and Arrowhead regardless of making it to, or through the playoffs on to a Super Bowl appearance. Chiefs fans were loyal, regardless of stadium or improvements needed. There was no reason to invest in Arrowhead related to fan support, beyond typical maintenance.

Well, for the last few yrs that hasn't been the case...whether it be a result of a new generation of fan that isn't quite as much a diehard & committed to supporting the Chiefs financially win or lose...or a society that has simply grown to be a much more impatient one than that of years past...I'm not sure. The failing economy doesn't help either.

The improvements to Arrowhead were promoted as being needed to keep fans participating...but it's not enough. The lack of fan support now being shown as a result of losing season's isn't gonna help return revenue spent for those improvements. It will be interesting to see if the coincidence of winning seasons/Superbowl appearances...and the timing of multi million dollar improvements and/or new stadiums come's to pass with Arrowhead improvements as well.

Hope that all made sense up there...my mind is a bit pre-occupied today, haha.

Worst refs ever! And it wasn't the first time this year, where we have had insane calls go against us..

And I didn't find Fouts or Enberg to be all that biased. In fact, they had lots and lots of praise for JC throughout the game. I actually had fun watching this one.

Just happened to be watching the game again tonight :D, and yes- Clady was called for holding on Hali with about 9 minutes to go in the 4th.

Oddly, a few plays later when Hali sacked Orton, Clady was once again trying to ride Hali to the ground with a headlock.
