I think it’s great that the Chiefs hired Charlie Weis to be their new Offensive Coordinator, now Todd Haley doesn’t need to be Head Coach AND Offensive Coordinator. Charlie Weis and Scott Pioli go way back I believe. They both worked together for the New York Jets in the late 1990’s and the New England Patriots from 2000 to 2004, so since that Weis and Pioli are back on the same team (and Todd Haley doesn’t need to do all the coaching now) maybe the coaching in Kansas City won’t be considered hopeless anymore. All they need to do now is find a good Defensive Coordinator. Clancy Pendergast isn’t much of one.
