Mike Nolan probably was one of the Top 5 DC's this year. The Broncos had the #1 ranked defense for 1/2 the season, and finished 7th for the year. Pretty good considering they transitioned to 3-4 and were ranked 29th in the league in 2008.

I HIGHLY doubt that Denver was looking to replace him.

As odd as it sounds, I have heard the same thing through several different sources. At one point there were 6 teams after Romeo =O I dont wanna hear anyone telling Clark Hunt to open up the check book anymore...Crennel is getting paid close to HC money
