Having a coordinator of his very own should help Cassel - KansasCity.com (http://www.kansascity.com/sports/chiefs/story/1697384.html)

I agree, Cassel will look much better next year!

He will look better as long as he gets an o line to help him to.

It will be a huge plus.

With JC en fuego, a full roster of Oline returning and weis calling the plays, Cassel will do great. Its difficult to be an efficient passer or a manageable Oline when Larry Johnson stunk it up w/2.6 yds per carry (forgive the statistic if its wrong). Third and long, third and long third and long. Its easy for our Oline to look abismal, plus our depleted wide receiving corps. Next year we will see a lot more 3rd and shorts in addition to a much better passing game since the defense HAS to respect our run game. Boom.

Near the end of the season our o-line was doing their job. It was all of our WRs that failed to step up

Perhaps, but we need an o-line that can do their jobs at the beginning, in the middle as well as towards the end, and WR's who don't have a major case of the dropsies.

I agree, but the o-line is not the the entire reason for the lack of production from this offense like alot of people make it out to be. Like you pointed out, there were several contributing factors to our offensive issues this season. As much as asome might not want to believe it, Matt Cassel even made his fair share of mistakes...even when he did have time. We need alot more than o-line

The O line was playing decent at the end of the season. Some of that is the play of Jamal Charles. He made something out of nothing at times. The O line did improve but there is still a lot of room for improvement when it comes to the O line.
