They are actually taught that. If they believe the defense has jumped off-sides then they are supposed to stay stationary until the play is whistled dead. I saw a play once when all five o-linemen did that.

you are correct. FSU isnt the only school that teaches that either. It shows a disciplined line in college, but in the NFL that can get your QB destroyed with how fast theyre coming at you
