this play calling looked like some jr. high school calling. i dont care if this LJ first true test or not. hes getting paid millions of $ to run the ball. a good back needs 20 to 25 times to get the feel of the game. feed him the ball. and i always love the 3rd and whatever and we throw a pass 5 yards less than the first down marker. thank you hermmie for making our defense average and our offense dragging the bottom. i have not boo`ed the chiefs at a home game since the early 80`s but if this offense doenst get better by the vikings game, you willbe able to hear me. well maybe not, i bet i`m not the only one.

He showed promise. I hope he becomes that spark for the Chiefs that we need to help us out a little bit.

I doubt we'd be so lucky as to be rid of Herm and Carl especially at the same time.

Hell, I was THIS close to betting on the less than 10 option on the carries poll in sportsbook.

Yeah I knew his carries would be limited but had no idea it would be that limited.

Yeah, it was very "un-Hermie"-like.

You know if Bowe and Sippio step up and become a threat it could open things up for LJ. I like Sippio's hands
and Bowe showed promise. I guess we'll all know Sunday.

That is if Herm will go down field to them early and often; don't see it happening.

If Herm was smart he'd open up the formation against the Bears defense (deja vu, have I said this already). Seriously though, if you put Parker, Bowe and Sippio on the field with LJ &TG, you force the Bears to choose whether to stack up on the run, or single cover all your receivers. You also make them "show" you the blitz a little earlier. It helps Huard, it helps the WR (assuming they still stack the box) and once they get burned on a few passes, it likely helps LJ and/or TG.

But heck, if Herm Edwards was smart...errr :D

I hear ya; going with play action right out of the shoots would so catch them off guard. But, alas, I dream once again.

Actually I think the best play out of the shoots, would be a 3 WR set with LJ going in motion to the side with the slot receiver...then run an end around with LJ as the runner coming from a WR position. It would at least screw with the Bears minds. Worse case you got LJ a carry and made a statement that the vanilla playbook was left behind last week.

Yeah, but as soon as we get a 3 point lead the Herm rips out the Noffense play book again; can't be scoring too many points now.
