No real disappointment here. Darling never did anything, and Savage had a great run in the preseason against the Rams, but did nothing in the regular season.

Bye Bye Savage. Fumbling killed your opportunities.

Too bad. Savage might have had potential.

I never really thought savage was really that amazing. And I didnt really pay much attention to Darling so I'm not that annoyed about the 2 being cut. Well they have 4 QBs now so I think the'll have to release some other QB soon. Unless Palko is on the Practice squad.

Savage was undersized and didn't have the speed to make up for it.. he seemed to give 110% so I like him, but the skillset wasn't htere.

Savage had heart and skill, just not enough size to help us. He needed to win the kick return specialist job to stay a Chief. I do hope he gets another chance somewhere. We already have a fast fumbling, undersized, running back, that may become, (hoping here, concerned about durability), a star!

That sentence makes it sound like you don't like Jamaal Charles at all!

He is not yet a proven RB, He has blazing speed, he has skills, he has moves, but can he be durable, I hope he can. I do like JC. He has not yet been the feature RB for the entire season, and has a history of shoulder problems.

I say keep size out of it. I can name several decent players who are "undersized".

MJD is one of them.

I agree, Size does not matter! With JCs moves you could be 6"5' like Sproles and still be a great RB!

Savage is 5'8" 182. MJD is 5'7" 208 with a very low center of gravity and extremely powerful lower body.

My point is that he has the size of Warrick Dunn, without the speed and quickness. Not a good combo.
