CERTAINLY not worth the reported $30 million he is asking for!! Good playmaker but way undersized and definitely not a pass rusher. Good against the run but avg at best against the pass.

Yeah, these teams that are willing to make Dansby the highest paid MLB in the league are stupid. I don't want the Chiefs to be that team. Very good football player, but he hasn't even made a pro bowl.

Being in Az I have watched every game he and Rolle have played and while both are good players, neither are worth the jack they are asking for. Dansby is probably going to get what he wants which is CRAZY but there is still a possibility that Rolle resigns with Az. They offered 6 years, $40 million with $10 million guarranteed. He was slated to get $12.5 this year which is why he was released.

No way! He isn't worth the money he is asking for...yes we need LBers but, why pay 30 million for an average lber?

I want us to sign some help. It's not going to be easy with this open salary cap. I don't see much out there in the FA market?

Peppers makes all the sense in the world.
If he wants to play outside LBer.
Peppers-Johnson-Williams-Hali

I know it's a crap shot to think out loud like this but if your going to spend.
Spend it on Peppers.

Yes DJ will be back we tendered him a 1st...no one will give up there first to sign him. Demorrio has'nt played bad for us at all( Can he play inside?)

As far as , the draft to help with LBers? If we don't trade down and select McClain i really don't see any other inside backers that i like. Maybe, Daryll Washington(TCU)

I like several OLB:
1)S Kindle...late first won't get him
2)Weatherspoon..same as Kindle
3)Ricky Sapp...could be there in 2nd?
4) Jerry Hughes(TCU)...Ran great at combine will he fall to second
5)Eric Norwood- like him in the third if he falls that far
6) This is my wild card guy...don't laugh....George Selvie.(5th Rd)

there's a lot of talk about Dansby being the top paid linebacker, simply because he is a very good player and the only one on the market during an uncapped year.

While I think the circumstances will improve his pay day, I have a hard time believing that Parcells or Pioli would overpay that significantly for a player.

Dansby will get a little more than he deserves, sure, but it's not like he can dictate his value. he still will only receive what teams are willing to pay. he might be expecting 30 million guaranteed, but if all offers are in and his highest offer is less than that, he'll still take the highest offer.

If he doesn't get PAID, there is still a chance he resigns with Az., small chance but still a chance.
