View Full Version : Huard's Leadership

After listening to Huard's postgame coHemments, I just had to question Huard's attitude. His comments sound like there coming from a backup qb. Manning or Brady would have said they stunk, and it will be fixed. They would have not said that there were a lot good points from Sunday's game. He needs to take responsibility for Sunday's fiasco. He's not a backup any longer, he shouldn't be a puppet for what ever play Solari calls. At least LJ is showing some leadership in his comments, but this should be coming from Huard, not LJ.

I think Huard played decent. Those three turnovers were not his fault and the receivers dropped several passes.

Huards leadership????????????

NON EXISTANT!!! He's not a leader! You can watch his mannerisms and tell that he is not going to be the vocal type and with his avg skills, vocal leadership is all he has to go on.

Wouldn't you think he'd be more stoked about being a starter after being a career backup?

I think Damon is a capable QB, he doesn't have to a great QB. He won last year, so he is capable of winning. I just didn't care for his post game comments and trying to put a good spin on a miserable game. Unfortunately this is a team sport and when receivers drop the ball the whole team does bad and Damon is part of the team. He needs to take responsibility for the whole team. If the receivers are playing bad, he's playing bad.. its a team.

This team will not get to the Lombardi... with Solari and the Preacher on the job......as long as we understand that, we'll be less frustrated with the play- not to loose play calling and hope to run...run ... run out the clock -way of doing business. This offense desperately needs to be opened up... Were driving Miss Daisy and can't understand why Chief fans are honking their horns and flipping the bird when your 15 miles under the speed limit.:11:

Agreed; Huard has been a back up his entire NFL career and from that point of view is how he has become accustom to conducting his conversation on and off the field.

In caes you were unaware.... Manning threw his offensive linemen under the bus, shy of two full years ago. He also could be seen sulking on the bench, in the first quarter of an a55-whoopin' that he being given, by the Patriots, the year before.

Looking too deeply into a players boring post-game comments is illadvised. They generally spew out the same crap as everyone else.

By the way, how many years of NFL starting experience does Damon Huard have? You expect him to be some balls-to-the-wall leader in his first game as a teams true number one quarterback? How realistic is that expectation?

FALSE...Alexander Graham Bell was about as Canadian as the Queen of England. He was born in Scotland, and lived there from 1847 to 1870 (23 years). He lived in Canada from 1870 to 1871 (1 year) , he then moved to the USA where he invented the telephone in 1876. After 1895 he did have a summer home in Nova Scotia where many of his inventions were constructed, however the phone is either Scottish (heritage) or American (residence)

Sorry Canada, once again you guys lose...

I wouldn't go with "American Heritage" since you are all from somewhere else too! I don't want this to turn into a who is better than who thred. I mean...US guns, overcrowding, going to war all the time, one of the leading countries in murder rates or Canada....large clean country, lots of jobs, no guns, everyone likes us wherever we go. But these are things that are neither here nor there. I like my country very much and would not move for any reason. U like yours and that is your thing. :bananen_smilies046:
