Who wants to bet a trillion (virtual) dollars he ends up in New England.

I'm calling it right now. The force is strong with me. And my insight serves me well.

I know he is trouble enough to be a faider ,but is he fast enough?

Thought you had to run a 4:45 to be a Al Davis pet.

I wouldn't like to see him with the raiders. Hes far for the RB he use to be but when he is motivated he can still put a good game or to up. To play us twice a year you no he would be up for those games. He could hurt us. But it would be nice to see us Stuff him.

if its only a trillion virtual dollars, no thanks..

Lj would do well in NE. The other rumor I heard today is ythat 1:23:29 PM could end up in NY. That would also be a good fit.

I read also today that they're bringing in TO for an interview...Laughable, just another great WR for Flowers to shut down.

I would love to see LJ go to Oakland. We could throw our offensive line out there to play on the Dline, and then LJ would just run into them and fall down. Very simple to stop him.

From what I'm hearing the Redskins want LJ.

At least in Oakland hitting and spitting on women is considered social graces so Larry will be right at home.

I would love for no one to sign LJ and force him into retirement. Then he can rap to the face book people about how he is getting paid and his fans are not...

I almost feel sorry for Washington.

Washington and Shanahan may now be my 3rd least favorite team. I've never liked either, so its a marriage made in heaven.

Least favorite list in order:
Denver
Oak
SD/Wash
Jets
Cincy

You better hope they are not on our schedule in the next 3 years. Shanahan will return LJ to form on that team if he gets the carries which may be likely the way Portis gets hurt. Just sayin....:D

I am honestly surprised at this. A 30 something running back with such a bad history off the field, and no production in 3 years on the field, got a 3 year contract? Am I missing something?

Drunker Hillbilly
03-13-2010, 10:08 AM
I think your missing the 2 years where he rushed for 3500+ yds and 35 plus TD's. Dude runs angry and I think still has a bunch in the tank. If he can get the carry's and keep his head on straight (which is questionable) he will have big numbers again before that contract is up.

Are you serious? LJ is washed up. He has never been the same after carrying 400+ times in a season. I wish we could play against him evey game. 2 good seasons behing a great O line does not make a great RB.

03-13-2010, 04:02 PM
a RB is only as good as their O-Line everyone knows that. If WAS somehow got a line similar to Roaf, Shields, Waters, etc. he will be productive. Put him behind a bunch of nobody's and he isn't a creative, explosive type runner who can make things happen on his own ala Jamaal Charles...

However, here is a projection. LJ wont play for three more years. Unless someone needs a 34 year old RB. Good luck with that!!

I think LJ's problems, aside from surrounding talent and coaching, is much more mental than it is physical.

I believe that if he were to get some help with his head, and get on a team with good surrounding help and coaching, LJ could still be a very good RB.

But, make no doubt about it, I am glad he is gone.

Washington is where RBs are put to pasture. Seriously who was the last good RB for the Skins? JohnRiggins, maybe? That was nearly 30 years ago.

Can't wait!! I am happy with the way things are going. I would still like to see some sort of long term O line solutions although I think that is going to be adressed in the draft.

Agreed. I desperatley want a LT or LG. I think Waters days are short lived at this point. LOVE the guy and his off field contributions to the city and organization or nothing short of incredible but his football skills seem to be diminishing just a bit. Has lost a step IMO.

LT (Okung) is who I would love to see and get Albert into a more comfortable position. RT or G would be nice.

I am not going to make any real guesses as to what we draft until I see what gets addressed in FA.
