So, what do the Chiefs still need this offseason in FA/draft? By my count, we're set at:

QB: Cassell
RB: Jones/Charles
WR: Bowe/Chambers
OT: O'Callaghan
OG: Albert/Waters (I'm assuming Albert is moved to RG)
C: Niswanger/Wiegmann
DE: Jackson/Dorsey/Magee
OLB: Vrabel/Hali
ILB: Mays
CB: Carr/Flowers

By my count, we still need a burner WR, a LT, a run-stopping ILB, two starting safeties, and most importantly a NT. Am I right?

I think Shaun Smith is gonna be our NT. Maybe get a rookie in the draft that can take some time to learn the position but I think Smith is the short term solution for this season.

How can you leave Derrick Johnson off the list?

I think we need WR help help to sure up the OL and help with the pass rush for sure. Then we can look to sure up the cb spot to go with flowers and safty help.

I've never seen Johnson a 3-4 LB. I'd love to be proven wrong.

I think Page will be the starting FS as well.

If Albert were definitely being moved to RG, I don't think we'd be bringing in Lilja today.

I would be shocked if Mays is even starting next season. Crennel is a lot smarter than Pendergast. He's not going to bench DJ, who is by far our most talented ILB. Good things happen when DJ is on the field.

Vrabel is very good on 1st and 2nd downs, but we could use a pass rush specialist to put opposite Hali on passing downs.

In the draft, despite the signings I still think we will go after the following positions (in no particular order): NT, OT, SS, slot WR, ILB, pass rush OLB, CB.

Good point on Lilja, Albert is our LT

Saun Smith is the short term DT, still need another one, but no need to reach in the draft for one

Urban was with Haley at Arizona, he was behind great WR's, I'm still not ready to say he can contribute offensively as much as he can on special teams

Looks like Mike Brown was a 1 year thing, I want to see Berry in Red and Gold and with one of our second rounders get a young OC behind Weigmann and Neiswanger

I think we need a RT, to compete as the starter or depth. We need depth at LT or a starter to move Albert to RT.

We need at least one saftety. Hopefully, Page will return healthy and solidify a spot that was obviously weak with him out. We could use another CB. Something tells me though that we should try B. Carr at FS.

We need someone who can put pressure on the QB. Vrabel wasn't doing it. If that means moving DJ to OLB. Do it.

I think we need help at a lot of positions. But I have 5 positions of need for the Chiefs:
1) ILB
we have a good young crew of linebackers, but no one Scary, you know?

2) Return specialist (Alabama = Arenas)

3) SS
Free safety is set with Page.

4) TE (pass catching)
there are a lot of good receiving TEs in this draft.

5) WR (a burner)
our deep threat!

These are in no particular order, but if we fill these slots with starters via FA and the draft I believe we have a winning season.
