Still scratchin my head with the punter situation, even though he does have a sweet name. But how is Dan Williams a projected 2nd round pick?!?! I would **** my pants if we were to land him in the 2nd...

Agreed. I need the bills to get high on Clausen. Far fetched a little, But we could trade down and have Williams land right in our lap. A dream scenario!!

I got a chuckle out of some of their round predictions. Just wanted to pass along a little information on who the Chiefs are looking at.

i heard some tenn fans saying Dan Williams wasn't that great of a DT and that he should go between 15-30....apparently he has been shooting up draft boards after a good senior bowl performance? He was alongside T.Cody when he dominated btw... but if Tenn fans dont think he is the real deal, then?

It is hard to sift through all the speculation right now... But this guy fits the NT mold. I can only believe that in Crennels' system he would flourish. Ultimately Berry at 5 would be my overall choice... But I know it would benefit us to have an extra 3rd round pick and fill just as gaping of a hole with Williams at 9.

We need an O line upgrade I know... But our current FA moves are a power back and 2 OL. not to mention Pioli has NEVER drafted a OL in the first 2 rounds.

The writing is on the wall... We are going defense in the first round.

Didn't the Chiefs just sign Colquitt to an extention last year? I can't think there is an issue with his contract running out.

Also, I don't take these types of list serious. It is not like the Chiefs are going to actually leak out who they are interest in.

Not true. Logan Mankins (OG) was a Pats 1st round pick in 2005, Matt Light was their 2nd round pick in 2001, and Adrian Klemm was their 2nd round pick in 2000.

I agree and there is a chance Pioli will grab him. But with Cam Thomas available in the early 2nd I think he might be better value. Heres how I see it:
1. Rolando McClain ILB Ala
2. Cam Thomas NT N. Car
2. Morgan Burnett FS GT
3. Myron Rolle SS FS
4. Kyle Calloway OT Iowa
5. Joshua Moore CB K State
5. David Gettis WR Baylor
5. Ciron Black OT LSU

That's OK. I'll admit I only know about Mankins because I remember thinking it such an odd pick at the time, and I looked the other two up on wikipedia.

I do think that you're right. I think we go Berry or Williams in the 1st (whether we pick at 5 or trade down). I do think we go RT in the 2nd. Remember the name Vladamir Ducasse. He's going to be our next RT.
