Sean Weatherspoon has been putting on his twitter page http://twitter.com/SeanWSpoon12 that he's been meeting with the Chiefs today. His most recent tweet said "The Chiefs will be good really soon, I can just tell by the way they handle their business! I get a good vibe from the people here!!! "

If he's available at 2a he could be a great pick. What do y'all think?

I wouldn't even mind a trade up from 2a to get him instead of just waiting around for him to fall. I doubt he gets to us where we currently sit.

Mocks have him going mid to late first round. If we trade out of #5 and move down I think we could stretch it and pick him up.

The stars would have to be alligned. Personally I would be upset if we traded back far enough to get him. I would be happy if he is still there four our second. He needs to add some meat to him though. I always thought he was a little thin.

Theeres no way he falls out of the first round. Maybe we trade back from our 5th pick with buffalo and get a third and fifth.
Then trade that third, fifth, and 2a to get into the first round and draft him.
That is a long shot to say the least.

Only get a third and a fifth for #5 overall?

And the #9 pick, obviously.

Well you didn't make that clear. Which is why I asked. At #9 Weatherspoon may not be as big of a reach as we think.

Im a KU alum, but i really like this guy's attitude and consistency. I think he is going to be a successful leader and LB in the NFL. I would like to have him on the Chiefs too, but the only problem is that he is going to be drafted near a place we aren't even close to. Having to trade up to get him would be a mistake, and waste of value as it would subtract atleast one (maybe more) pick/s from us...

We want as many draft choices as we can get. We have 3 in the 5th round this year. I will bet 250 dollars Pioli hits a homerun on atleast 1 of those 5th rounders...
