Just something I came across - interesting red zone stats.

This guy write for the NYTimes blog, so I check out his site every so often.

we did fairly well at scoring in the red zone...problem was we could never get there

yea for quit a while last year we lead the year in red zone scoring. Im not surprised if we didnt end up in top 5 for the year actually.

THe Chiefs went for it on 4th down in the red zone a lot last year because they were trailing late in the game.

Overall, the stats do show significance. The Saints were ranked 1st and the Raiders were ranked worst. Sounds about right.
