Which team will win the World Series?

I thought I would give us something that's not related to football.

Oh my gosh...I don't have a clue! LOL I don't follow baseball. Back in the early 70's attended a few Royals games with friends a couple of years...and it just bored me with repetition. Same thing with Basketball...too repeticious to hold my interest.

The only other sports besides football I enjoy, would be golf. I don't like watching it nor follow pro golf...but I use to play golf for years, and enjoyed playing. My business became so busy I had to give golf up...but someday I hope to be able to begin playing again, when my life transition with moving to KC is settled. I enjoy playing 8-ball and bowling too. That's it for me and sports though, haha. :)

To me a better question would be "Who cares who wins the World Series"? I used to follow baseball because I played it so much growing up and into adulthood but when they when out on strike and with the Royals being so bad I have just lost interest in it. I have not been to a pro game in 10-15 years and that was only to take a group of scouts to a game on Scout Night and I happened to see a perfect game pitched only 27 batters came to bat against him in the game.

I watch baseball quite a bit but not like I do football. I thought I would give some variety with having something other than football here in sportsbook. We are down to the final two months of the season so I thought that it would be a good thread for people to earn some extra Arrowhead Cash. Hopefully some more people will bet, I have observed some baseball fans here, but not many considering this is a football forum.

Oh, it's a good idea & bet opportunity, and I think many here do follow baseball. If I followed baseball & had a clue...I'd bet, haha.

I follow it more so than Football. It's my type of sport. In Football there is honestly as much standing around. They take 35 seconds to make calls and the plays last like 4 seconds. The sports that have the most action are Basketball, hockey, football(soccer as people here call it for some reason) and all other sports that go back and forth like these do. Those sports drive me nuts though because they go back and forth too much without a score. Still entertaining. Baseball I like because it's not timed and you can come back from any deficit. In other sports if you are down big there is no chance. And I hate time. Golf is peaceful but kind of boring to watch. Fun to play though.

Oh and I feel the Rays are going to win it. I hope they do. They deserve it. They were just like the Royals once...even worse and then all of a sudden they made it to the world series after having the worst record in baseball the previous year. Amazing. We could do that too. In fact I have high hopes for the Royals for the first time. The Chiefs and Royals will be great teams once again soon.

I did not see the Royals, so they must be field, so I put money there, also put money on the braves, not because I am a fan, but my dad was, so betting from the heart.

Yeah I put them on field. I love the sport of Baseball, I've played baseball and I watch Baseball. I was a Houston Astros fan and had the opportunity to go to a World Series game when they were in it. After the World Series they just didn't seem to have the same feel to them.. ever since then I just enjoy watching the sport, there are some teams I don't like and there are teams that I do like. I like the Royals due to the KC connection, I like the Dodgers and the Rockies and the Astros some though it seems like they trade away every good player they have. Baseball is a fun sport if you like crunching and analyzing numbers and stats.. I guess that's why I still watch it like I do.

I haven't followed baseball much, at all really, since the league back-doored the Expos. Anyway go Dodgers, Giants or Yanks, I've always had a spot for them though. :D

I'm a native Texan, but I'm choosing the Giants.
