It was doubtful they were going to successfully defend their throne anyhow. Plus, the NFC South is notorious for it's upside down turn-around teams.

From 2002 no team has successfully repeated as division champs... how are they supposed to overcome that. Wiki link below:

The Panthers aren't likely to take the division so it's gotta be the Falcons or Bucs as the favorites no?
