he's not 100% healthy, but can be used on passing downs only this year and groomed by Vrabel for next year. w/Hali & DJ that would make a beasty linebacker corps.:efpge:

I don't think he's been the same beast after getting off the steroids.

Sad, but true. Too bad he didn't get off the steroid before he put the hit on Holmes that effectively ended his career.

I put this up a while ago, back when San Diego announced that he would be released.

Been there done that.

This team seems like it has such a strong locker room right now, I can't see anyone with past off the field issues being added. Let's call it the tila tequila effect

Much like with moss I don't think it will happen at all. But With romeo working with him I do think he could help. But won't be upset at all when it doesn't happen.

i ACTUALLY would be ok with this move.. If we brought him in and released the new LB/ST linebacker we got, Simineou?

I wouldn't mind merriman for a couple reasons.. Bring him in and tell him he will be reserve LB and play special teams. And to help us learn SD's defensive schemes. Have him do that the rest of this year. If he can get healthy and maybe come back to a form he was before and take over for vrabel next year. sure, if not, he goes in the offseason.
