Can someone help me!?!

I managed to get my pics on the desktop on my computer in a folder. They need to be sized (I don't know how to do that) How do I put them on the site? :iamwithstupid:

I have software on my computer that allows me to do photo editing, including resizing. That's how I do it.

As for posting them, you can do one of two things.

1. Go up to Pictures to go to the PhotoPlog. Click on upload, browse to find the picture you're wanting to upload, click on it, press ok, then click on upload.

2. If it's in a thread, it definitely has to be resized. You click on Post Reply. Type in your message, scroll down to manage attachments, then basically follow the same steps as #1.

This is from memory, so I apologize if it's not totally accurate.

You can resize pictures in MS paint also. Through the image drop-down menu. There is an option that says "resize/skew" or something to that effect.

Depending on what your default format for your camera is you should also choose File > Save As then change the format to jpg if it is nor already.

Or you could install real vnc on your computer and have me take it over and do it for you.

I have removed the file size restriction from the Picture gallery. Now you can upload pictures of any size in the Picture Gallery. Sorry for the trouble guys. Post away!

Removing the size restriction could get you some pretty big pictures. I'm used to doing mine to a height 0f 700 pixels. I had some down to 500 and it still said they were too big. No biggy though.

Here is a free tool from Microsoft for Windows XP it is called image resizer ... install it and then browse to the pic you want to resize, right click and chose resize image. Choose the size and it will create a new smaller image in the folder. Very simple. If you have any questions feel free to e-mail me at mypctech@gmail.com.

there are tons of freeware out there to help resize your photos . Best is to get the one that resizes and saves to a separate folder , keeping your original photos intact.
