Well at least thats who was voted to have the best chance to beat them on Monday Night Football Countdown!

This was based on the fact that the Chiefs have so many people that have come from the Pats organization.

I gotta agree with it as well. I picked the Chiefs to win 1 game and the Pats win the Super Bowl but you never know...........

That's the great thing about getting to the playoffs once you are in anything can happen. If we get real hot we can beat anyone in the NFL and walk away with the title. You never do no.

I really believe that the chiefs can compete with any team. This young team even if doesn't go far will have the taste in their mouths and next year will be a favorite going into the season.

Teams are afraid of playing the Chiefs right now specially in the playoffs. If Matt keeps up what he's doing. It opens up the running game and then the Chiefs dominate the game. It all starts with Cassel, and after Sunday, I really believe he can do it. They can beat anybody. GO CHIEFS!

If we win on Sunday, we will have won 6 of our last 7. You can't get much hotter than that. The best thing is, it doesn't seem like we are playing the best we are capable of. We can still get better.

I'm not making any bold predictions, but I remember the Steelers squeaking into the playoffs as the last seed the year they beat the Seahawks in the Superbowl. As the number 3 or 4 seed, why not us?

I know we can beat any team in the league. Let's hope coach doesn't go Schottenheimer on us and sit on a 3 point lead and a bunch of 3 and outs. We have won convincingly when we don't let up...like a certain Boston based outfit. I hate to say it, but we really could use ToGo now. Talk about an unstoppable offense. Cassel on fire and and 2 big, tough receivers. But it would be so sweet to have a KC-Atl Superbowl though, wouldn't it?

Way too early to be talking superbowl. I mean we werent even supposed to have a winning season lol. However, if a 9-7 Cardinals team can make it to the Super Bowl and pretty much outplay the Steelers in that game I dont see why our young team which has a way better defense and a more balanced attack than that AZ team ever did, cant win a couple games.

The biggest concern is that we havent played any good teams this year, and even so we have struggled mightily on the road. Also we have lost a couple close games that we should've won and in the playoffs games are very very close.

Another thing that we havent seen from this young team in particular Cassell is that we havent really had to come back with a game winning drive of any type. The Buffalo game in overtime is the only game winning drive he led all season. However its probably better that we stay away from any type of game winning drive and try to beat teams early and often.

I think we can run the ball on the Pats and that will open up some pass plays. We have to eliminate any turnovers like we have all season and then let our young defense slow down that Brady guy. Can we beat the Pats in thier place? Of course...but we gotta play a perfect game and catch some breaks too. At this point lets just enjoy this season and win or lose in the playoffs lets just hope we play our best!

right now I wanna see em thump the Faiders and go out on a winning note.

if we win a PO game we may just grow some fangs and develope that killer instinct.

I heard Chokenheimer is coming here to be inducted into the KC hall of fame.

i think the hardest teams for us to beat because of the match ups are the ravens, jets, steelers...in that order. i think we match up better against the pats and colts[who we should have beaten].

I think the Jets are the easiest team for the Chiefs to play. They are way overrated.

don't underestimate the jets , they scored at will on a pretty good bears D, so did the pats, and if not for a super int from their safety jets win. the key here will be to get some pressure on sanchez and just play solid D. offensively not to get conservative[should not be a problem] but take points where we can[might be a problem]

I don't see Haley pulling in the troops and trying to sit on a 3 point lead.

If anything I worry about him going for every 4th down and trying a fake punt, fake field goal and a surprise onside kick...all in the first half.

I would much rather play the Jets...They are overrated and their play on both sides of the ball have been inconsistant..One game their defence shows up but their offence takes a powder (ala Green Bay game). Their offence shows up but their defence gets shredded (ala Bears game), then both sides don't show up (ala New England)...I hear alot of ppl saying we hav'nt beaten any good teams and thats true, but lets look at the Jets. They beat a New England team in week two before Brady got hot and a Steelers team with no Troy..Other than that, their other wins have been working over bums.. As for the game and it's outcome. They will no doubt play man to man and Bowe and Chambers will be shut down for the most part. Their secondary will get burned over the middle by our slot guys (TE's and RB options). Their D-line is'nt getting the penetration like last year and teams have been able to run on them.

I agree the Jets are very overrated. Also I hate Rex Ryan I would love for the Chiefs to be the one that knocks the self proclaimed Super Bowl champs out of the playoffs in the first round

Not to mention I seen their so called shut down corners (mainly Cromartie) getting burned by Bears WR Knox who is'nt the be all, end all of wideouts. Alot of the Jets success came over the middle to their TE Dustin Keller. He's got 55 catches for close to 700 yds and is averaging over 12 yds per catch..He is Sanchez's Witten...We cannot let him beat us which has been a problem for us stopping TE's.

If we can put pressure on Sanchez and then let the Crowd do the rest of the work Sanchez wont know what to do and he will look flustered like Phillis Rivers on our Monday night game.

I'd like to think that, but did'nt he as a rookie go into Cincy and San Diego in the playoffs and get it done? I know he did'nt throw the ball all over the place but he did'nt make bonehead mistakes either...Still those two venues don't hold a candle to the deafening roar heard at Arrowhead.

San Diego wouldnt even beable to sell out their stadium even if they were undefeated.

He pulled the classic, hold and get injured season. He's been playing injured all year.

no one is afraid of playing the CHIEFS in the playoffs, at least not yet. i would say in order of preference it would be jags, CHIEFS, colts, jets, steelers, ravens, pats.
hopefully when we win a few in the first round that will change but right now we are a wanted team.

You also think the Pro Bowl is after the Super Bowl this season..........

The Chiefs are one of the teams that most don't wanna play. Believe that. No team is going to underestimate them.

It is the same every single year.. the team that has the best running game is the team that nobody wants to play in the playoffs, because you can do so much more as an offense if you have your running game up and running plus games this late in the season favor the running game because of the weather.

be honest, do you really believe a team would prefer to play the pats, steelers and ravens over the CHIEFS in a one and done?

The thing that should probably make teams uneasy about facing this Chiefs team is the unknown.

Nobody has seen these Chiefs against a playoff-caliber team yet.

We beat The Rams and Seahawks. And, while one of them is playoff bound, neither is considered playoff-caliber.

Nobody knows what this team will look like against a legitimate playoff opponent.

Not knowing will force the obvious conclusion, that they will not be as good, since they will be playing against better teams.

But we have all seen teams who "play to their opponents' level".

I am not sure what to expect from The Chiefs in the playoffs. But I can't wait to see.:punk:
