The beginning of any sports season is a time of high hopes for most teams. Some of these hopes are realistic, while others are just overblown to ensure that fans will still shell out their hard earned money throughout the season. The following five teams had plenty of reason to be optimistic at the start of the season, but for some reason it all fell apart. 5. San Diego Chargers: The Chargers finished at 9-7, one game behind the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC West.
