That's for sure. I think we should make a million clones of him so that he is the owner forever lol

Well Al Davis just fired a coach that was rebuilding the Raiders...First .500 season in something like 8 years. 6-0 in the AFC West. Thanks Al!

Well, he wouldn't want the team to get too successful before tearing it all apart and starting completely over.

Its great news so far! haha! But the end result is when we find out who becomes the new HC. Maybe he's got a plan lined up. Hopefully not.

Seeing that it's Al davis I am sure he has a plan. But it's a plan that most likely only make sense in the mind of AL Davis.

Offensive coordinator Hue Jackson will take over as the new HC.

NFL.com news: Raiders decline to extend contract of head coach Cable (http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d81d7853a/article/raiders-decline-to-extend-contract-of-head-coach-cable?module=HP_headlines)

Yep and he sure wouldn't want to attempt to make the play offs before he kicks the bucket. So sad to lose Cable and maybe even Jackson to the 9ers. What do they call that, braindead, yea thats our buddy AL.......not that I am wishing him any harm or anything, I mean the longer he's around the longer they miss the playoff's every year.....

Aside from the obvious one, I'll throw another one or two out there.

Jerry Jones - Too much meddling. Let someone run the team properly. His success in the 90's has warped his ego.

Dan Snyder - Similar to Al, he just can't stop firing coaches and moving players. Continuity sometimes yields amazing results.

and since I live in Nashville:

Bud Adams - He refuses to pay talent, hamstringing a decent coach, and his love affair with Vince Young is about to destroy the team. EVERYONE he knows is telling him to ditch VY, but he's too darn stubborn.

Al Davis hands down.
Here's a question for you guys. Who is more responsible for the Chiefs winning the AFC West this year:
Al Davis
Norv Turner
Josh McDaniels
Todd Haley

while its easy to take shots at Al Davis.. no matter what sick and twisted way hes trying to pull it off, at least he WANTS to win.

How about Bill Ford, the owner of the Lions, does he even know what football is?

That guy reminds me of David Glass, but the Lions did just win their last 5 games of the season.

Four. But still pretty impressive.

They beat The Packers, and won in Tampa, during that final stretch.

What criteria are we using to decide the worst owner? People say Jerry Jones, but the guy has rings and one of the most poplular franchises in the NFL. Just built a billion $$ stadium (although you can't punt in it) but that sounds to me like a guy who knows how to do his job pretty well. Look at places like Jacksonville, Buffalo, Jokeland (obviously) But are you looking for owners of unsuccessful teams or just owners we dont like??

IMO Snyder.. He's been trying to buy a championship for a long while now and isn't retaining the coaching staff. Also, he seems to be more of a fan than an owner. Being buddy buddy with the players wont get you anywhere. They will love you as an owner, but when you develop relationships that you cannot (or have a hard time) part with, your team just becomes stagnant.
