Former Kansas City Chiefs running back Ed Podolak is recovering after he was hit by a car while crossing a street in Scottsdale, Ariz. Police in the Phoenix suburb say the 63-year-old Podolak was not inside a crosswalk when he was hit Sunday. They say the driver of the car that hit Podolak tried to brake but couldn't stop fast enough.
