but he followed his TD with a kick-off return to the 45 and a kick-off return to the 40. good day.

Great deal for a 5th round pick....

I always liked watching the X-factor. It's weird seeing him in another jersey though.

No but I suspect that he didn't do a lot of dancing around or running backwards.

...Just guessing.

Hence the reason he did it for the Ram's and not us. That TD return against the donks in 2003 at Arrowhead ruined him in Kansas City, because he started thinking he was invincible and could return every kick like that.

True he did try to turn every kick return into a Disco dnace. But he was fun to watch.

He has a good game, and suddenly we were wrong to give him up? I'm going to see how he plays in a few more games first. He was so aweful the last couple of years, that I was glad to get rid of him, even though I did like him.

Well, in four games, so far, the Rams are five yards better in PR average (7th, to 16th.) and tow yards better, in KR average. (18th to 26th.)

He's off to a pretty healthy lead, in that race. :D

As far as how "aweful" he was, by his standards, yeah, maybe. By the NFL standards... Average. (In '06)

Well, when I think about what we ended up with to replace him, then, yeah, I miss him. We should have kept Phinisee!!! Oh well, can't change things now.

He looked like he was dancing with the stars. I still liked watching him. He was explosive. He could return one at anytime.

I kinda wish he was still here...

Difference is.... Dante ran the damn thing FORWARD. When was the last time he did that for KC. Been a couple years.

He needed a change and got it. I don't blame the Chiefs for letting him go at all.

We agree!

He has learned much here in KC (thanks to Dick) and is using it now (actually now that I think about it, he looked a bit like Priest in that return) in ST Louis.

Devin Hester is a freak of nature, and will break all the records (barring injury) but Dante was the best for sometime.

That is the thing about the NFL, things are fluid and there are always new players coming in, and old ones leaving.

It is kind of like a crapshoot if you ask me.

When you have the available talent that KC has right now you have to capitalize though!

GO BOWE!!!

Watch the replay... He waited for his blockers (learned that from Priest) then exploded past all the defenders.

This guy still has 5 or 6 returns for TDs left in 'em!!!

We love you Dante!!!!

(Just don't do it against us!!)

No. He didn't. He ran thirty yards before gaing five. Then, as far as waiting for blockers goes, he was electric, with moves so quick and subtle, that it made defenders lean into blocks, from the opposite side. I say we messed up. I won't criticize those with opposing views.

...Right now.:D
