Patrick Devlin QB Delaware 5th-6th Round?

Hi All: I'm a hardcore college Division I-AA football fan & I think Pat Devlin from Delaware is a gem! We need a decent back-up QB & I think he is so underrated! He doesn't have a huge arm, but he is so smart & accurate!! I know many of you don't know about this guy but I really, really like him!

i would have been the first one in your corner since i saw him play at PSU but he faired badly at the combine, lots of missed passes and some concern about arm strength.

Yup...No question, his combine wasn't good. But...Does that mean everything? He needs some time & I think we could be a decent/excellent back-up in the NFL! Delaware is in the CAA FCS Conference (the best in Division I-AA football period) He smoked almost everyone & had a broken wrist for a couple of games & played very well. I know a few teams are keeping an eye on him. We'll see on Sunday!

I think we should give him a look. I believe we need to draft a QB sometime in the draft.

with our qb draft record we should let someone else draft him then trade for him

Seems like a very unlikely pick until the 7th round. My guess is that he will be a UDFA.
