5 years, $60M ($35M guaranteed). Well worth it for the best pass rusher in the league!

That's a lot of money but I guess he's worth it. Let's jope he continues to perform at a high level. And the timingis perfect. The Free agents can start practicing tomorrow.

Who cares? It's not our money and we sure as heck don't have a salary cap problem. He is our best defensive player.

This is a sarcastic response to those who felt like we needed to spend money just to spend money.

We just locked up one of our own, who lead the AFC in sacks last year. Great sign...

But spending money on our own players isn't good enough. We have to spend that money on other teams players who don't fit our system in positions where we don't have a need, so we don't have enough money to keep the good players that we drafted and developed. That's how you win a Super Bowl! :)

Aother teams trash is another teams treasure.

We should just trade our 2012 first and second for Fitzgerald and make him the highest paid player in the NFL. Then we would be a Dynasty.

Oh on the KC Cheaps front. Assuming Bowe becomes more consistent. He will probably warrant a decent contract next year as well, as well as Flowers.

We also need to resign Carr and Gilberry this years.

These are all key core players..

pretty sure we already resigned Gilberry....

Also, I love that Hali will more than likely finish his career here! that's awesome!

Nope, He and Carr have only signed their restricted tenders. They are not under any detailed contract keeping them here longer than this year.
