Finally! :) I wonder if he caved or the Chiefs gave him a little extra. I haven't seen terms of the deal, yet

According to a league source, Chiefs LB Justin Houston has agreed to terms. 4-years, $2.786M; $671,248 to sign

I want the reason why it took until today, he has all the talent needed but on the surface I don't like the holdout if that's what it was.

That's just under $700,000 per year. That makes him higher paid than
Dwayne Bowe WR $690,000
Brandon Flowers CB $555,000
Javier Arenas CB $405,000
Jon Asamoah G $405,000
Jackie Bates CB $405,000
Dexter McCluster RB $405,000
Tony Moeaki TE $405,000

to name a few. I hope he's worth it.

I was looking for something on breaston, unofficially he has a 700,000 base salary this year and got a 5M signing bonus. The deal was 5 yr 25 mil I believe, I'm not sure about the guarantee. As an established vet I'm good with that. I wonder how much Houston got guaranteed.

Under the new CBA the 30k fines would start today which I don't think is a coincidence with his agreeing to terms.
