Filed to ESPN: Arizona will sign WR Larry Fitzgerald to a record 8-year, $120 million deal that includes close to $50 million guaranteed.

Congrats to Larry, I doubt we would have ponied up that much no matter how awesome he is. Class act on and off the field.

Would have been nice to have him.....but not for that kind of money.

I want to see the Chiefs DOMINATE the AFC for 5-10 years and were not going to do that signing free agents for that kind of money.

There was never even a slight chance he was going to leave Az. He is one of the good guys in the league and is not about the money even though he gets it and deservedly so. He's been one of the most productive players in the NFL for the last several years including last year when he had terrible QB's throwing the ball to him. In an age where most WR's are diva's and all about themselves, it's nice to see a guy who doesn't care about all that.
