Wow KCVET, I've been watching MNF since it started, and I don't remember that theme at all. ha. wonder what Bob's Band is doing today.

im old enough to remember it. I think the first MNF game was in 1970

I was 7 when Monday Night Football started and, if I remember right, I had to go to bed at 8:00pm on school nights, so I don't remember the song. I do remember when I was a little older listening to Howard Cosell, Frank Gifford and Dandy Don Meredith calling the games.

Monday night isn't quite the same since it left ABC. I'm not saying it's any better or worse - just saying the money games seem to have switched to Sunday night.

That's true and it seems like it has been that way severy year since ESPN bought the rights to MNF. But it means 2 prime time games a week instead of one so it's cool with me.
