Philip Rivers put his hands under center and called for the snap, one that would have moved the San Diego Chargers to the brink of victory. They had trailed Kansas City the whole game, but with the ball at the Chiefs 15-yard line and Nick Novak's right leg warmed up, they were poised to escape with a win on the road.
