The ONLY two Chiefs to get voted in:

NFL.com news: Pro Bowl analysis: AFC roster full of good calls, omissions (http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d825772f0/article/pro-bowl-analysis-afc-roster-full-of-good-calls-omissions?module=HP11_cp)

No offense, but this is already going to turn into bashing on Tyson Jackson? The guy played pretty well this year- no doubt far from the level needed for the pro bowl, but then...

Does the pro bowl really mean jack squat anymore?

Not the fan voting part of it. DJ had a pro bowl as one of his goals and Id guess all the other players do as well, so in that sense sure it matters.

I didn't know it was a goal of DJ's, but a big hats off to him! I was always disappointed during those years where he didn't seem to get much playing time. Every time the guy was in, he was a big play! Good to see him get to that level.

I just don't think it means as much since they moved it up to before the super bowl.

He did an interview right around the GB game with Looney on the the Chiefs website where he mentioned it, I think it was an under the helmet segment or something along that line.

Well, I think playing 3-4 DE probably about rules you out for any Pro-Bowl selections, unless the coaches select ya as a backup.

Oh, my bad. You completely misinterpreted the spirit and tone of my comment. That's easy to do on the internet when there are no facila expressions or tone of voice.

I wasn't bashing TJ at all. I have been one of his defenders here and think he has done a pretty good job this year - not nearly Pro-bowl level at all, but still pretty good for what he is asked to do.

My comment was actually a good natured jab at all the Tyson haters here and kind of an homage to those of us who have tried to defend him.

Oh, well. It made sense in my head at the time! :D

I'm glad for Hali and Johnson. It's hard for anybody in a small market like KC to win a popularity contest like the Pro-Bowl voting no matter how good they are.

Maybe next year Flowers, Carr and Charles can join them in Hawaii ...

... unless they have to play in the Super Bowl!

Congrats to DJ and TH. Both deserved it. Shame there isn't a little more KC red headed to Hawaii.

I think Albert will be called as a replacement also.

Supposedly Albert Blew up on Twitter about not being selected. Not quite sure I see him as a Pro-bowl LT.
