Skins are at home. Lions are completely lopsided-- great offense, terrible defense. The Skins are slightly above average on both in the rankings. Mike Martz is doing a good job for Detroit but you can't throw the ball all over the place like it's backyard football and play pourous defense without it eventually catching up with you.

I like both teams. I chose the Lions though, because they are a much better team, with Kevin Jones back, as opposed to with Tatum Bell.

If the Skins throw the ball it is going to be a long day for the Lions

He has been one of the bigger surprises of the season.

I find nothing surprising about Kitna this year. He was doing a great job last years. The Lions have simply learned from a year of experience in Martz' offense and are now limiting the errors that occured so often last year. Kitna has been a good quarterback for awhile.

Yesterday's game he wasn't good at all. From ESPN.

Let's see, the Lions QB was sacked for a safety. He threw two interceptions, including one the Redskins' Carlos Rogers (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=7185) returned 61 yards for a touchdown. He fumbled three times (although he didn't lose any of them). And he hit just 16 of 29 attempts for 106 yards as the Lions were stuffed by the Washington defense.

I would have to see the game, to specualte what went wrong. Though, I'll admit that I am quite surprised by his having such a bad game. He has earned enough of my respect, to warrant my having high expectations for him.
