No one thinks hue would make aq good OC and would be looking to stick it to the raiders twice a year for firing him.

He's gonna look at sticking it to the raiders for firing him.

He's a Raider! No actually he was a good OC for Okland as much as I hate to admit it. If I remember right he did work with Flacco in his rookie season while with the Ravens and as we know Flacco has done well. The Raiders Offense did improve under Jackson as there OC, also having the same QB issue's as we have now. I don't know, it might not be a bad move really.

Hue jackson, no. However if his staff gets fired Al Saunders will be available. I would take him back in a heartbeat

He did a pretty good job in his time with the Chiefs before. Give him the Running game led by Charles the killer Bs and see this offense TAKE OFF. I would much rather have Al Saunders then Hue Jackson anyday.

personally..... I'd love it, I remember us interviewing him for head coach when dick retired. There offense this defense yes!. But was it his offense or dick's? IDk I guess will see what clark talks to pioli about since his shining days were with us

And Al Saunders was the OC. I am sure that he helped in that.

The truth is it was a bit of both. The head coach will always have a say in both the offense and the defense. So Both Dick and Al had a big part of what the offense was doing in those days.

No in 2010 jackson was the OC for the raiders he took them from a cruddy offense to 6th in the league. Saunders wasn't even around yet.

Well, you look at the offense The Rams had with Vermiel, and compare it to Vermiel's Chiefs, and the similarities are undeniable.

But you look at what Saunders and Martz (the OCs for both of those teams) have been able to do in other situations, and the results have not panned out.

I like Saunders. But I expect that he will need a few seasons for his offense to bear fruit. He has, possibly, the largest playbook of any coach in The NFL and he has not posted real strong results in his limited opportunities, since the Chiefs and Vermiel.

I've been searching for the best available OC's for a couble of days now and there's really not many out there. With Hue Jackson available, he seems to be our best option.

Who else can you name besides the obvious Saunders everyone's talking. He is not an option at the moment!

Not that I am FOR another one, but at least be respectful about the one that put KC back on the map for YEARS with a tight-wad owner.
