Giants can't finish the drive with a touchdown and half to settle for a field goal. Nearly blocked but goes through the uprights nonetheless

The Giants are driving down the field, looking very good right now. A field goal will put them ahead by 1, but at this pace a touchdown looks very possible. The only reisk is an interception or a fumble which is always a risk.

First time in history losing coach never came out to give a post-game interview after a Super Bowl. Classless til the end. I was leaning for the Giants, but really didn't care who won. I just can never root for the Patriots since Belichick was caught cheating his way to 2 of their Super Bowls. The time of the Patriots is now past. Unless Belichick can figure out a way to draft or trade for 12-16 first tier starters next year, you can stick a fork in the Pats for the next 5 years.

Yeah not coming out for the interview that every other losing coach has was a d bag move. Only a Pats fan can like that guy.

I live in New England and I HATE the Splats. Glad to see them lose. Wish it hadn't been to the Giants though. Hate them too.

Hope you are right and that this will be the last time we see the Splats in the Super Bowl for the next 50 years!!!

Tomorrow would not be soon enough.

In Austrlia, a lot of people that just choose a favorite team just for the sake of it, usually choose the Patriots, because theyve won a lot of superbowls recently. Well... 5+ years ago. Anyway, they know next to nothing about the NFL or its history but brag about their team. I hate this.

Similar thing with the Raiders. "Oh they're logo looks cool and they were black and they're all intimidating". Damn that's irritates me.

True.

But imagine if Tom Bradys Hail Mary was a touchdown. That play would have lost the game for them. :o

Against Eli Manning’s orders, Ahmad Bradshaw scores the Giants’ winning touchdown

INDIANAPOLIS – Ahmad Bradshaw said he was left shaking with anxiety after a goal-line mix-up with quarterback Eli Manning that resulted in him scoring the New York Giants’ winning touchdown in the Super Bowl on Sunday.

Bradshaw scored with 57 seconds to play because the New England Patriots provided a gaping hole for him to run through, giving Patriots quarterback Tom Brady one more crack at going down the field. However, Bradshaw admitted he had intended to fall down at the 1-yard line. Manning had ordered Bradshaw to take a knee, but the running back did not understand the instruction in time and his impetus carried him into the end zone to make the score 21-17.
